All of our sits are hybrid in-person and online. Please contact us for the Zoom link
Practice Session
Newcomers please arrive 10 minutes early for a brief orientation. We provide sitting gear: cushions, mats and support cushions.
Our practice session typically consists of:
Seated Meditation (25 minutes)
Walking Meditation (5 minutes)
Seated Meditation (20 minutes)
Chant
There might be a talk on a topic related to Zen and an opportunity for questions afterwards.
Our sits are intended for members of the UBC Community only - Students, Staff, Faculty and UNA residents. If you are not part of the UBC Community, there are a number of other organizations in Vancouver where you can explore your practice. Feel free to contact us if you need help in finding a suitable group.
